An empty shopping cart and trash are piled up near highway 65 running through Porterville, California. A Wal Mart had opened in the town about a year before and it wasn't long before the K-Mart was out of business. A Target went in across from the Wal Mart and became known as one of the best places in town to get a job. Porterville 1991
