Aerial photos made from low-flying unarmed U.S. Air Force jet reconnaissance planes revealed these barracks-type structures near Chiktong in North Korea, which are believed to house enemy-held UN war prisoners. This enlarged section shows soldiers, some waving, others just looking at the aircraft overhead. Their true identity is a mystery. Structures who no markings which the Communist officials promised to use on all camps housing prisoners of war. March 1952.
