Protesters burn a Kekistan flag they seized from a group of suspected white nationalists near the White House August 12, 2018 in Washington D.C. The protesters were countering the Unite the Rally 2 rally organized by the same person who organized the deadly rally in Charlottesville, Virginia the previous year. Kekistan, an imaginary white nationalist ethno-state, is an invention of alt-right 4 Chan online forum members and was started as a meme to represent a fake country of Pepe the Frog.
